Youth Ministry

The mission of the GACC youth ministry is to Gain lost youth to Jesus Christ; to Ground youth in the teachings and doctrine of Christ; to Grow youth into the likeness and image of Christ; to encourage godly living and conduct that will Glorify God.

"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man." (Luke 2:52)

It is the goal of every Christian, young and old, to model the life Christ. This narrative in the life of Christ provides a foundational principle that should be duplicated in every Christian youth. It is the idea of balance between God and man as an individual matures physically and intellectually. Thus, it is the vision of this youth ministry to provide a holistic approach to serving youth in the context of the many aspects related to spiritual and physical development.

INVOLVEMENT
In this world there are many things that can distract our children. Our Youth Ministry strives to provide fun, spiritual and uplifting activities that help our youth be productive Christians in school, at home, in their community as well as at church. Involvement activities include:

Youth Chorus, Youth For Christ, National Texas Leadership Conference, Youth Conferences, Community Services, Youth Banquets, Bible Bowl and many more.

Assist parents as they seek to develop a discipled young person. A discipled youth is one:

• Dedicated to the word of God
  
• Devoted to living a moral life
  
• Committed to God in life, fellowship, and worship
  
• Involved in opportunities to serve and minister
